Sinking Patio: Abandon Ship? | Fairfax

Soil erosion can do a number on any structure. In this case, the structure happened to be a patio. But thanks to a referral, this Fairfax resident didn't have to go down with the ship.

I would like to thank you for the referrals you gave me at the beginning of the summer when I came to you for assistance. I called many of them & had several estimates. Mary, you were right, most wanted to put in a sump pump...The cost of repairs ranged from $4K  to $30K, depending on the extent of the work.

I was convinced that it was a problem outside my house, that had become worse due to soil erosion & sinking of my patio but I was not sure.
